Isaac has joined MHREC’s volunteers’ team for 2023.
My name is Isaac Saliba, I’m a 20 year old student currently in my 2nd year at MCAST for a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. My goal is to graduate and get involved in work which allows me to meet people from different backgrounds and help tell their stories and give social issues public attention. I always like hearing from people who have gone through different experiences and learn how that may have shaped their perspective on things.
I’ve always had a great interest in social issues and strongly believe that all should be treated equally regardless of appearance or background, both within society and when it comes to law. I wanted to volunteer with MHREC because I believe that their goal aligns with my interests and it would offer me an opportunity to provide my assistance in helping others and raising awareness about these prominent issues.
