MHREC Learns: Expert Meeting on Stories That Move

Between the 28th-30th of November 2022, MHREC had the pleasure to attend an Expert Meeting on Stories That Move: A Toolbox Against Discrimination organized at the Krzyzowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe, in Krzyzowa, Poland.

Our team had the opportunity to meet with the Anne Frank House team members and creators of the Stories that Move online learning tool, along with other partners, educators and stakeholders from different European countries and organizations.

A tool that MHREC has used on several occasions, Stories that Move is available online at no cost and based on true stories and the experiences of young people. It provides a safe online learning environment with a focus on diversity, inclusiveness, and various types of discrimination, to tackle questions raised by young people.

In Krzyzowa, participants discussed best practices, project ideas in relation to anti-discrimination education, youth exchange programmes, as well as formed partnerships and networks through shared motivations and ideas for exciting future projects and meetings.

It was truly an inspiring couple of days, and we are extremely grateful for all the wonderful new connections that we have made!
