MHREC is happy to introduce its fantastic team of volunteers for the year 2023/2024. Keep on reading and come back over the next weeks to find out more about them and see what they have to say!
Hello! My name is Rana. I’m from Lebanon and I’m currently pursuing an Erasmus Mundus joint master’s degree in resilience in educational contexts as my first mobility semester is in Malta. I’m an educator as I’m passionate about working in humanitarian fields and NGOs. Being a volunteer at the Malta Human Rights Education Center is a great opportunity for me to educate myself and those around me, along with the future generations that I’ll be teaching, about diverse topics related to simply being humans and having our rights.
Hi, I’m Yihong, currently studying Commerce at the University of Malta, from China. I’m dedicated to blending business with human rights to make a positive impact. MHREC provides an excellent opportunity for me to use my skills and knowledge to contribute to real-world issues.

I believe that, from a business perspective, we can find innovative ways to support and promote human rights and boost development. I’m excited to explore these possibilities at MHREC and contribute to both business and societal growth.
We thank Rana and Yihong for their great contributions so far and look forward to working further with them.
Check back over the next weeks to meet more of our volunteers! Check out our current team here.
