As part of our summer volunteer and workshop series at Ronald McDonald House Charities we would like to introduce one of our volunteers, Julia, who was involved in the summer sessions.
Julia is a 17-year-old St. Aloysius student currently studying both Accounts and Marketing. She plans to continue studying accounting in university in the coming years, in hopes of one day becoming an accountant. She is an ambitious and hardworking individual and believes that everyone should be able to achieve their goals and that there should be no one standing in their way.

She is a volunteer and was working with us over summer to learn more about what she can do as an individual to help others to live a better life.
We are pleased to share that throughout her experience, Julia has found that MHREC has helped her raise awareness and to be able to educate the people around her on the different functions of human rights.
Check back next week to learn more about the next session held at the Ronald McDonald House Charities. We will be focusing on blackout poetry as an interactive activity as a form of taking action. In the meantime you can check out the previous articles in this series here.
