As a reminder, the Model International Criminal Court (MICC) is a simulation of trials before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for students from all over the world. The International Criminal Court (ICC) is the world’s most sophisticated mechanism for the protection of Human Rights and rules of warfare.
Do you want to participate in the upcoming MICC University session?
Are you a law, international relations, political science, or journalism student? Or have a recently graduated?
Are you interested in improving your communication, critical thinking, and
argumentation skills?
Are you willing to reflect on and question your own beliefs and values?
MHREC, on behalf of the MICC organisers are currently looking for participants for the MICC University intake for the session taking place between 16th to 22nd April 2024 in Poland.
MICC University since 2006, annually invites university students from all over the world to Krzyżowa. MICC University simulates a fictional case dealing with the current dilemmas of international criminal law.
Four weeks before the official start of the project, all participants will be assigned into teams. This means you can be either a judge, prosecutor, defense lawyer, or press team member and you will work together on the creation of position papers for the simulation.
The project week will consist of program activities such as lectures, discussions, and the simulation of ICC. You can learn more about it here.
